Notion Syllabus (한국어)
Develop ability to think of multiple solutions to a single problem.
Develop ideation skills using generative artificial intelligence.
Understand how to use the latest artificial intelligence technology.
Understand the process and methods of collaborating with people in various fields, such as designers and engineers.
Artificial intelligence can no longer be considered a specific industry or product type; it is being applied to various fields such as scientific research, education, manufacturing, transportation, politics, and art, and is rapidly changing our lives. Therefore, we will face the following questions in the near future:
What does innovation using AI mean for fields such as health, biology, space, and quantum physics?
What would an AI-applied “best friend” look like? Especially for children?
What would a war using AI look like?
Is AI seeing reality that humans cannot see?
How will humans change when AI evaluates and shapes human behavior?
What does it mean to exist as a human being at this time?
“The Age of AI”, Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt, Daniel Huttenlocher
In this class, starting from the questions above, we imagine the future society using text and images using the latest generative AI programs (ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway), and plan products that apply AI that will be needed in this situation. Implement a design prototype. Through this process, we aim to explore the meaning of being a human in the AI era. (A prototype is not at the prototype level, but is implemented to a level where the idea can be understood and experienced.)
The goal of this course is to allow students to experience the entire process of planning and producing a challenging project that uses artificial intelligence technology to benefit society. More specifically, we plan to form a multidisciplinary team with multiple majors participating, and each person will contribute to the team project based on the expertise of his/her major, but as a team member, we will experience the beginning and end of the entire project and the rhythm in between before graduation.
Other than a simple tutorial on how to use generative AI, this class does not provide lectures on specific technologies or tools in specific fields, and focuses thoroughly on team collaboration experience for projects.
Outcome:
